FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before ordering your ANDOR watch.

Every ANDOR watch is assembled in small production batches and individually inspected before it leaves our workshop. If you don't find the answer you're looking for, feel free to contact us—we're always happy to help.

When will my watch ship?

Each ANDOR watch is built to order.

Once your order is placed, your watch enters our workshop for assembly, regulation, inspection, and final quality testing.

Estimated dispatch time is approximately 2–3 weeks.

Once your watch ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email.

Why does it take 2–3 weeks?

Unlike mass-produced watches, we don't ship finished inventory from a warehouse.

Every watch is assembled, regulated, inspected, and prepared after your order is placed.

Taking the extra time allows us to ensure every watch meets our quality standards before reaching your wrist.

Where are ANDOR watches assembled?

Every ANDOR watch is assembled and inspected in Scotland.

We carefully source high-quality components from trusted specialist suppliers before completing the final assembly, regulation, inspection, and testing in our workshop.

Is my watch really assembled by hand?

Yes.

Each watch is individually assembled, inspected, and prepared before shipping.

We intentionally keep production small so every watch receives the attention it deserves.

Are your watches waterproof?

Every Series 01 is designed with 200 metres (20 BAR) of water resistance.

Each watch is tested before dispatch.

To maintain water resistance over time, we recommend having seals inspected during routine servicing, especially if the watch is regularly exposed to water.

What movement does the Series 01 use?

The Series 01 uses a reliable automatic mechanical movement NH35 selected for its durability, serviceability, and everyday performance.

Your watch winds itself while worn and can also be wound manually through the crown.

Do I need to wind my watch?

If your watch has stopped after not being worn, simply wind the crown approximately 20–30 turns before wearing.

Regular daily wear will keep the movement running.

How accurate is my watch?

Mechanical watches naturally vary in accuracy.

Every movement is checked and regulated before shipping to ensure reliable everyday performance.

Small daily variations are a normal characteristic of mechanical watches.

Will every watch look exactly the same?

Because every watch is assembled individually, there may be very small variations between pieces.

These subtle differences are part of what makes a hand-assembled mechanical watch unique.

Can I return my watch?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

If you have any concerns after receiving your watch, please contact us as soon as possible.

For details regarding returns and cancellations, please refer to our Returns Policy.

(Make sure your Returns Policy complies with UK consumer law before publishing.)

Does my watch include a warranty?

Yes.

Every ANDOR watch includes a warranty covering manufacturing and assembly defects.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, normal wear, batteries (if applicable), straps, or damage caused by unauthorized repairs.

(Adjust the warranty length to match what you decide to offer—1 or 2 years.)

Will replacement parts be available?

Yes.

We intend to support every ANDOR watch with replacement parts and servicing whenever possible.

If you ever need assistance, simply contact us.

Can my watch be serviced?

Absolutely.

Mechanical watches are designed to be serviced throughout their lifetime.

Routine servicing every few years helps maintain long-term performance.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.

We offer international shipping to many countries.

Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated during checkout.

Please note that international customers may be responsible for any import duties, VAT, or customs fees required by their country.

Will I receive updates while my watch is being built?

Yes.

We'll keep you informed throughout the process.

You'll receive updates when:

  • Your order is confirmed
  • Assembly begins
  • Your watch passes final inspection
  • Your watch has shipped

Is this a limited edition?

The first production of the ANDOR Series 01 is limited to 50 watches.

Future production runs may feature design updates or different configurations.
